Colo Heights is located on the Putty Road 40km north of Windsor, NSW.

Situated at around 300m A.S.L., the township is nestled quietly in the midst of natural eucalypt bushland. The Rural Fire Brigade currently has about 20 Active Fire Fighters, and covers the largest area in the Hawkesbury Rural Fire District, being just under 1000 sq kilometres.
